Among the maintenance and improvement works carried out in recent years: new anti-skid in 2024; in 2023, the electrical system was overhauled with a Victron PC and the batteries were replaced. In 2021, the backstay was replaced, new sails (mainsail, jib, gennaker) were installed, the vang and electric furling system were overhauled, and the generator was serviced, along with the complete overhaul of the engine. In 2018, the rod rigging was replaced, the hull was repainted in metallic Dark Blue, and new through-hull fittings were installed. The COMET 51 S is excellently equipped with: generator, air conditioning, 3 jumbos, carbon NORDIC mast and bowsprit, electric furling system, teak with grey caulking, internal/external GPS, 4 electric winches, teak interiors with custom finishes and accessories, carbon gangway, 3 cabins with double beds and an owner’s bathroom with bidet, internal/external double refrigerator, Hi-Fi system with external speakers, royal ladder, Prisma deck lighting, internal LED lighting and LED navigation lights.
