The American shipyard Nordic Tug located just an hour north of Seattle, in the far northwest of America, the brand is known for one fundamental thing, and it is absolutely not to be underestimated: it produces hulls to go anywhere and live, comfortably, even off-the-grid. In short, for fans of adventure and life at sea in serenity, a bell should already ring: American Tug. Acquired by the Kadey-Krogen Group in 2023, the company has never changed its spirit, it produces trawlers from 36 to 44 feet (11-13 m) and does it by hand, with absolute rigor and boutique spirit. A formula that, despite the many difficulties, has never slowed down the brand and, on the contrary, has always rewarded it. Here, in short, are the American Tugs, the American bluewaters for those who don't want to worry.
Construction began in 2008 in Burlington near Seattle on the U.S. Pacific coast.
In 2010 it was purchased by the English dealer who then exported it to the Southampton solon.
It is a single-engine boat with a cruising speed of 9/10 knots, but which can reach 17 knots for long stretches
It is a boat that guarantees safety and comfort of navigation combined with a high strength of the hull.
