This Vilm 116 combines the solid hull and the proven deck laminate of the series yacht "Vilm 116", built in 1998, with a unique, handcrafted production by its builder.
All other work – from interior fittings to special technical solutions – was carried out in-house.
Hull, deck & underwater technology:
Standard hull and deck laminate ("Vilm 116" 1998) – extremely robust and proven – first launch in 2002

Teak equipment:
Floating deck, bulwark/skirting board and roofs of the fore and aft cabins
Sealed with Coelan for long-lasting protection against moisture & UV

Deck hatches & access:
2 large, light-flooded hatches in the foredeck
2 panoramic hatches in the roof of the deckhouse
Rail with traveller and smooth-running system for self-tacking jib

Antifouling & Underwater Paint:
biocide-free silicone antifouling, renewed in 2022
Bow thruster (2021):
SPW Three-Blade Rotary Propeller with Counter-Rotating Screws
Separate battery, joysticks at the inside and outside helm station

Rigging, Rigging & Wind Measurement
Main and mast rigging completely overhauled (2025), incl. new stay ropes, fittings & shrouds
Forestages with roll-up system (2018) – comfortable handling
Railing wires & side hatches (2018) – highest stability and safety
GARMIN wind measurement system in the mast top – precise live data for all wind angles
